Reformulation of the Conai environmental contribution: the expected changes in our sector
Conai has established a reformulation of the environmental contribution for plastic and bioplastic packaging starting from 1 January 2020:
- B bracket: shopping bags go from the current €263/ton to €436/ton.
- C bracket: flexible packaging (vacuum bags and cooking bags) go from €369/ton to €546/ton.
These are significant increases, therefore we ask our customers to check their warehouse stocks.
For orders sent by December 2019, but which will be delivered and billed from January 2020, the Conai increase will be applied.
